DRAFT Description Castrol Alpha™ TT 1200 & 3200 are high quality, mineral oil based extreme pressure industrial gear oils with high viscosity. Alpha TT 1200 & 3200 contain a boosted sulphur-phosphorous extreme pressure (EP) additive, oxidation and corrosion inhibitors, and possess demulsification and anti-foam properties. Application Alpha TT 1200 & 3200 are recommended for heavy duty industrial gearbox applications such as dragline gear cases. Alpha TT 1200 meets the requirements of Bucyrus specification RGL for Regular Type Gear Lubricant, along with DIN 51517 Part 3 (CLP). ASTM D341 Viscosity Calculator
You may calculate the viscosity of the oil at various temperatures based on ASTM D341. This uses the two sets of calibration data that we already have in order to calculate the viscosity at any temperature. You may input multiple temperatures at once, seperated by comma. |
